Assembled or Branded PC??

ofcourse i go for assembled pc as its the best option, i can take what ever the component i wish, and alter can replace it also, its easy to repair also. there are lot of flexibility in operating you pc if you have a assembeled pc.

i will choose to assemble a pc. you can choose which hardware to install and which do not. branded pc had already chosen for you. you won't know which hardware they used and most of them is not the best. they only choose the cheap hardware mixed together and sell it to you. you will not find its good enough then a chosen assembled pc.

hmmm it should depend on your own budget and your dailly usage, if you only use for your own use I think its better get assembled pc than branded pc since you could estimate your needs and concentrate your pc power as your needs, so you won't spend useless expend, otherwise you could go with branded, and also get prestige bonus if you use it at your store, imho.

well it really depends no how you can handle a computer. i mean if you're quite knowledgable with troubleshooting the absolutely get an assembled one but if you're not into computers and may need some help for some problems then get a branded one so you get get their tech support and warranty. those are the two that are important in the assembled PCs.

i prefer assembled PC rather than going for a Branded one...cozz in assemblem PC you get an opportunity to choose what are the parts you can put..i mean you can customize your PC before buying by choosing different parts of different companies you want...if you go for an branded PC you ll have to take waht he gives and the price will be fixed....more over if you buy an assembled PC you will get an added advantage that an brabded PC does'nt give..that is a warranty for individual parts...if you buy anBranded one the whole PC gets warranty(unless specified). and there are also many reasons....like Graphic card's...etc which i considered while i bought my PC....that y i prefer an assembled one.

I will better go for assembled one where I can get warranty for every part of my computer

I prefer assembled one because I can really choose all the components by myself, unlike the branded ones where you have to accept what the manufacturer made. And because I choose the components by myself, I feel really satisfied with my computer.

i choose assembled PC because you can choose what you want, the performance you need and you know what your PC contain. i saw once an Branded PC, IBM and i were dissapointed.

Assembled computer is not cheap then Branded now so this is my personeel view , if the your vender gives you all the gurantee of computer in assemble and change the components without delay, your vender help you then it is ok, if they are unknown personel then this is my advice to you take the branded pc

I choose assembled. Branded PC are also assembled PC, they get some of the parts from other companies. dell doesn't manufacture its own processor or HDD, they assembled it. So why will I pay extra for the same thing? besides, if you dont know how to assemble, you can ask the sales person of someone in this forum specs of PC. and pay a little extra if not done free for the PC shop to assemble them for you.
