I always had carpets before I moved into my new house. This house has all hardwood floors. I've tried a couple different products and all seem to leave a dulling residue on the floors. I checked before I used them and they all said they were for hardwood floors. What do you use on the floors to keep them from dulling?

You might try pledge wood floor cleaner if you have sealed wood floors. If you get those black scuffs from shoes, I highly recommend magic eraser. It's easy to just wipe the scuffs off without damaging your floor.

It depends on what type of hardwood floor. If they are Pergo floors you can use vineger and water. I have always entrusted Murphy's Oil soap and if you use this it is good to wash with HOT water and then do a lite mop with some COLD water. I cleaned houses for 10 years and have never had a build up or dulling from this soap.
