They weren't your friend after all. It cost you five hundred dollars to find all, I am sorry for you. but you learn from mistakes.

Stealing money is a big no no... I have no experience of loosing money that way. My friends are really cool and we share a great rapport. No one stole my money but i have lend money to lots of people and i have lost track. It started when i was in school, when my friends wanted Rs 500 . I had to break my coin collection to lend him, which i have never got back. The thing is,i can never say no to people who are close to me. When i was in school i had a collection of perfumed erasers, that was stolen by one of my friend. But i dont bother to make a big issue of it.

Yes, I have had friends steal money from me. I have also had family steal money from me. The worse part is when I have given these people a place to stay when they had no where to go. They returned the favor by stealing from me. I am a true believer of not biting the hand that feeds you.

I have number of friend and mostly we hang out in group.some of my friend have had borrowed money from me by saying that they will return me on some specific calender date but they never returned it .I don't ask for it,i just don't feel good to ping about it each n then time.while giving i just forget that my money will ever get return to me.the thing which makes me feel bad is that when they are in help i always try my best to help them.sometimes i cash out from my credit card but the time i am in need.they just gives me some lame excuse.

That would have been really hard for me to digest, if that had happened to me. More than stealing money, I consider breach of trust as a bigger sin. Had that happened to me, I would definitely have had at least a week of sleepless nights.

i have loads of friends.. not all of them are my best friends but yet allmost alll of them are very good friends.. we have this group of boys and we are more then 30 guys in the group and i am at very good terms with everyone. i invite everyone to my place and throw parties and get togethers and we enjoy. yet at many times i have seen some of these very people steal things from me. like cd;s or perfumes or anything else. its not like these things are very very big deal to me and if they would ask me for it id just give it to them outta love for them but still they steal at times and when i find out i really feel hurt and dont feel like talking to them again but again after a few days i tend to forgive them. and i never tell them that i know that they have committed this sin and it hurt me . i do so just outta love for them and i have known them for years and they are not bad people at heart they just have these bad habbits i should say and sometimes they do it as a joke.. i dont know how to help them or how to respond to such situations can you suggest?

well..its a terrible thing to happen to a nice boy like u...i mean..wen u know they're stealing..its best to confront them..i mean..just do it directly..tell them..the next time they can ask for anything, and u'll give it to them..that'll be more simple..for one thing, they'll realize that their cover is blown..and then they'll also be free since u said they can ask u...i know its tough..but just let them know that u've been hurt by what they did..sometimes..we've to be direct, when bad things have to be stopped!!...try this..it wont be too bad after all...n then again..u say they're ur friends..so after all.u have to be free and frank with them..thnx:)

Ohh that makes me so mad. A "friend" watch my son and another little boy (5 y/o) at our home, with her 6 month old daughter (my son is 1) while I went to the hospital with my hubby for out patient surgery. My "friend" acted strangely when we got back...she left and the 5 year old proceeded to tell me "the big girl went in that room" MY bedroom. So I went through everything. Stupid girl...she stole a pair of amythest earrings and a couple pieces of cheap jewelry. Needless to say, I no longer speak to her.

One friend of mine use to mooch of money of our hockey team by telling us that registration of the whole team would be $290.00, but it really costs $210.00. We had lots of trust in him, but we actually went and asked the league organiser just to ask him ow it would cost per team and he told us the right amount. We just had a doubt to ask.
