Busy day quick easy cake request sj_chaudhry

1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cups sugar
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 milk
1/3 cup conola oil
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Grease and lightly flour a 9x9x2 inch baking pan. In a small mixer bowl combine all ing. and 1/2 tsp. salt. Beat with electric mixer till blended. Beat 2 minutes on med. speed. Thrun into pan. Bake in a 375* oven 25 to 30 minutes or until done. Cool.
You can also use 2 round 8" pans, and bake for 12 to 15 minutes.

It is good, not dry. But it is such a quick and easy one. Not as rich as some of the others. But, with frosting or jam, or creativeness, one would never know. You can frost and dripple chocolate fudge on top. You can ice it, and roll crushed nuts around the sides.

Marge sounds like a good recipe. I don't make many cakes I like pound cake, do you have a recipe for a pound cake. I will take that one. or one for dinner rolls. you seem like a cook cook.
