Have you deleted a mylot friend

I have never deleted a friend for them not responding to my discussions. But I have deleted a friend. Only 1- He was posting some pretty racey discussions-- this started after he asked to be my friend. I always check out profiles of people and see what they are saying and responding to.. He totally changed-- Not sure if it was to try to attract more responders or what. Now I'm not a prude-- but I have the "notify on" for all of my friends-- My daughter sometimes opens my e-mail for me looking for e-mails from her uncle (He's in Iraq) and she would see these-- Nope! He was gone. I thought about just taking the notify off... but as I checked him out again- I thought I would never answer these-- so I deleted him. My first place I go every day is "Discussions my friends started" thats the meaning of friends-- Helping each other out- And I pick friends on interests.. If they post interesting things to me or if they answer my discussions.. I try to answer there questions if they relate to me. Good luck finding good friends here!

i have deleted many friend from my list.i dont send any friend request yet!but i got many request.i approve them all.then i will wait for 2-3 days whether they check my discussion by sending message.i check all discussions my friends started and response some which i can reply!otherwise i will give a + for him!notify is on for all friends!

I agree with you. I have deleted a few friends recently not only because they didn't respond but because they weren't starting any discussions themselves or the discussions weren't anything I cared to respond to myself. I also check how long since they logged in and if it is a fair while (3 weeks+) I delete. them. Mean I know but there are a lot of people that don;t bother with the two way friendship thing...

I saw some people here with hundred friends,if they can answer to all them topics is fine with me,but my personal experience teach me something else.....the most of them asking friends just for they have any more post they can get to them topics.Now I don't ask for new friends(only at very special cases) and I delete some I haven't any reason to keep them ,answer to them topics and never didn't come to mine(not to all but even to 1 ).Me I don't only post at the new topics of my friends but when I have time I go to them old topics also.From the other way I have some people who gave each other responses the more of the time and they aren't in my friend list yet.My opinion is little but good friends and of course you are one of them.

I have deleted only one, and that member has a very large tally of points. However while I responded to their discussions whenever I had something to say, they have never responded to one of mine. You're right, just as in real life, friendship is a two way street. I have about thirty now, and I will only request friendship from someone who has posted reasonable discussions. Also, before accepting a new friend, I check out the material they have posted.

hey i am maveen i am very new to my lot this is the very first disscusion i have read on My lot but i must say that what ever u say is really true friendship is never one sided it is a relation of give and take
