Judge Ayman al-Akazi sentenced Nabil to three years in prison for insulting Islam and the Prophet Muhammad and inciting sectarian strife and another year for insulting President Hosni Mubarak.

Wow, talk about tolerance and understanding. What happened to free speech? Oh wait, Islam and democracy aren't buddies. Do many muslims agree that the church and state should be combined? Lot of good it does...

Free speech can not be tolerated by any Islamic run country. What they call free speech means you can only say anything that does not disagree with Islam or the rulers of the country.
That more people do not understand this is a mystery. Just keep up the good work of getting the word out.

Apparently...
Islamic society is ingrained with intolerance towards criticism and non-muslims, so when the government is ruled by that kind of ideology, it will usually go down hill.
