The PS3 - mixed views on the Net

Every website I go on I see something different about the PS3. You have news stories of it being the most pre-ordered console in the UK and then you have articles discussing the possibilities of it being a flop!!
What's going on? How can it be a flop when it's had so many pre-orders?
Personally I've pre-ordered one and I will be getting it on launch day in the UK and I can't wait!

it is flop compared to other systems since it has not delivered what they had promised to do. blue ray from what i hear sucks and is very slow loading, the online gaming is not as good as Xbox 360 live and the games arent that great either which are out till now.i was ps2 fan but i have changed my preference to 360 in the next gen console wars though i will get a ps3 eventually when price goes down in US and good games comes out

Good points, but it is still the cheapest blue-ray player in the States. And blue-ray is amazing, all you need is a nice HDTV with 1080p support.
