Total Panic is a "self portrait" of my sleeptime. - Total Panic is how i feel about falling asleep, since i have violent nitemares.

Hi, Catherine here. I just got a disturbing email from a person who visited my website and saw the painting attatched to this discussion. He told me that i was a total nut-job for painting something like that. What is your opinion?

First of all I really like what I could see of it. Being attached to your comments, it was small, but it looks like panic sleep feels. I don't think you could ask for a better thing than that. I've had panic inducing dreams, and your painting made me feel "that's how it feels" Secondly- how could someone say something so mean? Was this person serious or a close friend who was trying clumsily to tease you?
