I have around 325 friends, and they are all people I know. I only like to have people I know added to my friends list.

I've got about 360 friends on myspace I think, I hardly added any of them they all add me. It gets silly if you have too many friends on these sites you can't possibly talk to all of them.

yea some of my friends are my local radio statons, my favorite bands, and a few people that added me. I don't add too many friends who find me, unless their myspace atually look like they are a real person, like those graphic photo albums, or actually have music, and have their profile filled out almost completly.

I only have about 90 friends on myspace, becsuse I prefer to just add people I know instead of the bands etc they have on there -- I don't really use it much any more, but feel free to add me if you wish...

I have 2 MySpaces, actually. On my original page, I have 104 friends. I added people whose pages looked interesting to me and with whom I had similiar interests. I added most bands that sent an add request. After a couple months, I deleted most of those bands. I don't see any reason to keep those who have hundreds, and thousands of friends, just for the sake of having them. Plus, I doubt they miss me!
On my 2nd page, I have only 41 friends. This is more my "mystical" page.

I use myspace as a networking site and for my friends, I like to add bands, film makers, and other writers. I added you, I love to meet new people. I know that a lot of people like to only add people that they know, but I am a networker, I add everyone and leave comments. I only started about 2 months ago though and only go t serious about logging in everyday last week, I only have like 131 friends, but there are more everyday.
Oh yeah I also have the myspace IM and I do talk to people on it, those that have it anyway.

almost 300, I think it's time to prune again. I try to only have friends that I know IRL or friends of friends or *occasionaly* people that are really interesting and friendly

I have 220 friends on myspace. I dont think the number of friends someone has can accurately portray anything about them. If you want a popularity contest just go to a highschool.
