There have been many alternative and experimental treatments for Becker. Unfortunately, none have been proven to help long term. Back in the early 90s, they were doing experiments where they were implanting healthy cells from the fathers into young boys battling the disease. Physio therapy and occupational therapy may help to keep the muscles in the body useable and extend life. Lengthening of the heelchords and hamstrings may also help.
