Person Selling Polish Hot Dog from the Super Bowl

I found this on eBay one day. A guy selling a Polish Hot Dog from the Super Bowl. How could you tell if it actually came from the Super Bowl. And how would you presurve it to keep it good? It is pointless to sell sometime that will be back by the time it gets to the buyer isn't it? What's your thoughts on this?

:) I guess he thought anything signed will find a buyer. Who knows if it's frozen by the buyer, they might make money out of that too but I won't buy it!

It would be difficult to prove, even with something signed by the vendor.
Freeze it possibly?
I agree it is a silly thing to be selling and a silly thing to buy, but there are always silly people out there.
