well i know for a fact that smiling prevents wrinkles or at least reduces their formation, also smiling is good for your jaw muscles and it also brings blood to your face which makes the skin better and gives your face some color, and this is not proven by anyone, but i've experienced that when i'm sad or angry and if i smile or make myself smile, i immediately start feeling better, let me tell you, a smile can work wonders.

This was proven a long time ago. If you want to keep a youthful face, keep smiling. When one smiles, he stretches the facial skin up, countering the effects of gravity hence, this causes the skin to age much slower. You want to keep your heart young? Keep smiling, smiles drive most of your worries away. Worries make a heavy load on your heart. No one desires to have an aged heart, it has so many defects which include various heart diseases/ailments. You want to have some friends? Keep smiling, people tend to be friendlier with those who smile a lot. Having many good friends around, makes one happy. And the happy atmosphere brings forth a feeling of comfort which, in turn, shall bring forth a healthier you.

The only negative impact that a smile really has would be to give you wrinkles. I think that a smile improves your happiness and your health and the happiness and health of those around you.
