I am going to get another tattoo. I was thinking about my lowerback but i found one today i want on my ankle area. I am uploading a photo of it, tell me what you think. I think its actually on someones arm but i think would be pretty on the ankle area. I hope you can see it good enough.

I can't see the pic so well, but it seems to be on someone's arm. I really don't think it's fair to bring a picture of someone else's tattoo and ask for it to be tattooed on you. I spent a lot of time thinking about my tattoos (I have 5) and I'd be heartbroken if I saw someone with the same ones.
Why not get creative and design your own? You don't have to be an artist, just doodle and a good artist can clean it up and will KEEP editing it until you're happy. Or try bringing pictures of what you want. For instance for flowers look up real pictures of the ones you're interested in. I think it will make it more personal.

I understand what you are saying ,but in my opinion if i had a beautiful tattoo and someone wanted one like it i would be flatter. Besides i was'nt going to make it exactly the same, i would use diffrent colors and lay it out diffrently. If i had one i didn't want copied by no one else, i would not post it on the net for the whole world to see.

Well if those were the rules, then every picture of myself I ever put on any of my webpages I'd be in a long sleeve turtleneck with long high waisted pants. Just because someone can see your money, doesn't give them the right to steal it, right? Same idea.
A body mod. community I belong to even has a page devoted to this subject: www.bmezine.com/tattoo/stealthistattoo.html
Not to mention, any GOOD tattoo artist, will refuse to copy someone else's tattoo. Just like they'd most likely refuse to finish a tattoo someone else started.
An ARTIST will be just that. Anyone can be a tracer. It takes talent to be an artist.
Just my (an most of the body mod. community's) opinion.
I hope that it comes out amazing no matter what you decide.

There is no need to carry on this disagreement for i have done changed my mind and discovered another idea on a tattoo i will try for, thanks to one of my good friends here who referred me to another web site. I appreciate your disagreement though hahaha.

It's hard to see the picture but it looks like the ankle area would be a good spot for it. I noticed earlier that you mention perhaps getting a fairy on your lower back. You should check out the fairies done by David Bollt...very cool and very colorful..I've added a link.

Well I could see it fine.
It looks very nice and would look great I'm sure.
I think it would look better on a ankle too.

hi, lisa! sorry, but i don't really go on for tattoo..i don't know, i just don't like it. but i think it will also depend on the person's personality...nothing is wrong with that, it's a matter of choice. and everyone has the right for his own choice, and i respect that. if you are thinking having tattoo at your ankle...well, i think it's ok...good luck, my friend!

Yes i think it is definetly a good ankle/leg tattoo, i personally dont like tottoo's on the arms of women i think they look tacky and butch. I've got 3 myself and will eventually get more but my arms definelty wont be done ever. Go for it i think it will look great.
