fish? What kinds of fish have you caught? What kinds of fish do you like to eat?
Well I only remeber catching 2 fish my whole life. One was when I was a kid. The other about 10 years ago in Charleston wv. I went fishing with a co worker who liked to fish alot. Guess what I caught a pretty good size one. She didn't caught anything. I loved it!
I like trout and bass to eat. I would probably eat just about any kind because I really can't tell one kind from another except trout.

Ive grown up fishing!
Lake trout, halibut, salmon ( pink, red, silver and king) we even catch crabs and octi when fishing in the ocean hehe. I cant count how many ive caught though. We used to camp every weekend growing up.
My mother and her husband just bought a boat and spent $800 on new halibut poles. so this summer is gonna be great! Fresh halibut! And i know my mom is gonna get crab pots too.

My mom and my olest sister loves to fish. I remeber fishing with mom. I was sitting next to her and she was catching all kinds of fish, I wasn't catching a thing. She got up and moved to another spot and threw her line in the water and started catching them agin and I nothing. I had a good time though.

I very much enjoy it, and in my case the fish are never threatened, :).
I also devoted an entire chapter of my first book to my first fishing experience as a young boy, and in that case the FISH probably had the last laugh.
It can be a relaxing hobby, an active sport, and in some cases there are rewards beyond just catching fish. Certainly there are cultures that survive primarily on fish.
I also enjoy eating, but pretty much "Sea Food", salt water fish as opposed to fresh water. I also took a lesson from my grandfather who got me "HOOKED" so to speak, and I usually catch and release. There are times, that time spent fishing is more about the TIME than the FISH, and leaning up against an old tree at a Lakeside, casting and "fishing" with no hook; just a worm tied to a split shot weighted line, is as good as IT gets.
My last fishing experience of any real significance was about 4 years ago in the Central Highlands of Scotland. It was on an estate named PitCastle, and on the property were 7 "Lochs" The estate stocked fish and game for guests, and I was invited to go one chilly October morning. The "Loch" was stocked well enough that one could almost be assured of catching something, and I did. It was a nice 11 pound Rainbow Trout, which was even prepared and cooked up for me. I have the picture of the catch still, but can't recall it being anymore outstanding a meal than a Well prepared SwordFish Steak.
Good Post though. Thanks for the memory nudge.

I went for fishing when i was 12 years old. My village has a small lake, when it rains there fishes come to the lake with the water which comes from different sources. I walk in the water and catch fishes in hand. I used to enjoy that time. I have caught 500 grams fish once where i was hurt..i love those days.

wow! catching a fish by hand seems to be difficult. i haven't tried that. well, i can't even catch a fish using a fishing rod and a bait. what more when using just my hands. and i think it will really hurt me like it hurt you. ouch! but 500 grams seems to be worth the pain.

I think I have only caught about two fish in my whole life, and that was when I was a teenager. They were not eatable fish.
My husband loves fishing. Everytime we go on a holiday on the Murray River, he does some fishing. All we ever catch are the yukky fish, that we are not allowed to return to the river.
The only fish I like to eat a mild, white fish, such as whiting.

my dad loves to fish. and when i get some time, i go with him. just last year, we went fishing together with some of his employees. i was fascinated when seeing others caught fish. and so, i tried my luck. i waited for hours sitting there hoping that one fish will take my bait. but i never get lucky. haha!well, eventhough, i had fun with my dad. and that's important. if my dad goes out fishing again, i will fish with them. and i will give it another shot. who knows? next time, i will be luckier!
what fish i like to eat? hmm.. milkfish is my favorite. i don't care if it's too full of bones. i have all the patience to get the bones out of the fish one by one. the taste is worth it!

Well I use to like to fish when I was way younger then I am now. I remember catching mud pout, rainbow trout, rock bass, sunfish and more.
It was'nt till 3 years ago when I went on my first ice fishing trip and had to clean my own fish to eat. Well cutting it open and the head off was'nt all that bad but when you pull the back bone out, the sound was enough to make me almost sick.
To this day now I cant stand the site or smell or taste of fish.

I love to fish and I have caught mackerell, bream, all different kinds of fish, oh I love my tuna, bream, mackerel. there is a lot of different fish that I eat. Oh dear my family were all into fishing but they had a problem as my father could not catch anything, as for my mother she used to catch eels and me well all the fish came to me so that I guess is why they used to always take me fishing.

Growing up in Florida I absolutely love to fish. I grew up fishing the Destin, Panama City beach area but now I do most of my fishing in the big bend. I prefer salt water fishing over fresh water mainly because I enjoy a huge fight. I enjoy fishing for grouper, trout, maui maui, spanish mackeral, king mackeral, and catfish. I try to go fishing atleast once a month as it's a great stress releiver from everyday life.
My favorite fish to eat are catfish and grouper. A breaded grouper filet on a toasted bun topped with bacon and cheddar cheese sounds good any day of the week.

I love to fish. I love to sit by the lake or river and just relax. I think my favorite part of fishing is just doing nothing at all for a while.
Now eating it is a different story. I am not a great cook when it comes to fish. It is hard to make it taste right.

I like to do that in summer only where the water is not that cold. I'm not an expert but I catch something now and then, sometimes small mouth bass sometimes pike.

I like to try and fish. I think I have only caught one in my life, but I guess its kind of like playing one of those games with the claw you see in the stores. I keep thinking this time I'll do it.
I never grew up eating fish so I don't eat a lot of it. I also always worry about getting bones in my meal. When I do eat fish I really like a fish filet at McDonald's or a tuna salad sandwich. I've had fried catfish before and thought it was really good.

My husband and I fish alot. We each have 2 fish on the wall, I have a bass and a crappie, hubby has 2 big bass. The first 2 we caught about 30 minutes apart from each other, hubbies first then mine. Was very early March and it was cold, I had gloves on and almost didn't get my fish in. Thankfully, the fish was too sluggish or I might have lost it.

I love to fish I of course fished as a little girl but when it was required to get a fishing license I stopped I didn't like it that well. Now that I am with my current boyfriend we go quite a bit he even went a couple of weeks ago. We mainly fish for three kinds of fish, crappie, white bass, and catfish. My favorite is catfish and if its cooked correctly you should definately be able to tell the difference when eating it. I am actually debating not taking my kids to a basketball tournament in March so I can go fishing. I hate touching the fish so I bought rubber dish washing gloves so I don't have to feel them but you hae to be careful you don't squeeze too tight though! HA HA!
