Is this the most under rated food ever, I look at all the burgers, pizzas, fast food we eat and I think to myself, why not go home and cut up some slices of cheese and whack it on toast and grill it for a minute or two, add some tomato or ham if I feel like a bit more flavour but I reckon the humble melted cheese on toast is a fantastic snack.

I actually have to agree with you on this one. I make sure I use 'real' cheese instead of the processed one, and I think it is great. The only problem is that I don't have a grill, so need to do mine in the microwave. It does not make the cheese go that nice brown colour from being under the grill. I like(d) to put a bit of black pepper on it as well, in order to get the brown going the best.

If only cheese was not so fattening..... I love cheese. I guess there would not be too many people who hate it????

I am a huge grilled cheese fan. I had one of those grill cheese maker things in college and I think my whole floor lived on grilled cheese. My college mates and I liked to dip our grilled cheese sandwiches in French's yellow mustard.
