Do you get jealous of the star or posts of the other myLotters?

Do you get jealous when you see a star or posts higher then your own? My star is currently a 10 so I'm not jealous about that anymore but I must admit I was a bit jealous of it when I was a 2. I do sort of feel jealous though when I see people with a lot of posts, but not in a bad way, I just wish I had that number already too. but I will of course work to earn it and admire those I'm jealous of.

Actually, I am! Im only at a 7 now, and i dont get why. i read an alert that your repuration is based on the ratings that other users give you. so either no-one has given me a '+' or a lot of people have given me '-'. i wish my reputation increases, so people will really stay tuned to what i say. i think 7 is not a credible reputation, dont you think?

I have a ten now, but there was a time I had a 2 and I was working my a## off, I was so upset with my 2. So I know it's not always a case of credibility. Sometimes people might rate you a - because they don't agree with you or just to pick on you, at least that's what I've read, I do my best to rate all my discussions and discussions I reply to also, I also try marking best responses after a wile. But some other people I guess don't care so much about those things as I do, and don't mind not giving best responses and + to the people. I hope your ratings go up as it seems to me that you're a good honest myLotten citizen (: One of my problems is discussions with 0 responses ):

wow, that's really nice of you to say. well, as for me, i haven't really developed the habit of giving best responses. i do rate people but i dont do it often. i think the most that i do is report users that are violating mylot rules and stuff.

I am not jealous but I have noticed now that you mention it that I have done more posts then you and I am still only a 9. I have ask this question a few times why I do not get to 10. I got to 9 in the first 3 days of being on mylot and just seem to stay there.

I don't know, I'd think you deserve it, maybe there's just people that tend to give you a -, I heard some people target others, or maybe someone just didn't agree with you and marked a - out of spite, I don't know, well I hope you get a 10 soon, best of luck to you!

As long as it doesn't affect my earnigns I could care less. I'm really surprised at how many topics there are about a star and a number. That's all it is people, just a pretty star and a number.

I think you have 10 now on your star,,, how would you feel if someone else is jealous about it!!! lolz just kidding.... i think i never felt it that way and knew that i can come that way along and do that as the time passes by

I don't get jelous I just get encouraged to post more and more good quality posts to get both my post count and star up. So far my stars only moved up one spot ever. So hopefully I can get that up and in time I will have posts up there too. It's only been three weeks and I've already got enough to copy and paste.

My star rating has never changed from a nine in the beginning till today. It does not matter at all to me. What matter most is how much I can earn through mylot.com. I can have a 10 star but earn miserably or a 5 star but earn a lot.

Not in my case coz before when i just started w/ mylot i haven't notice those stars..i just thought that it's because they are long time members.I know how the rating goes ...not even have the chance to ask friends how you get those stars ???till yesterday when i reach the point 100 it suddenly came posted on me...I was amazed i got 10..i am so happy i thought maybe i deserved that points....

I just reached 100 posts literally a minute ago and my star showed up. So no, I havent had a chance to be jealous yet haha. I don't think I would be jealous though, they must just be good responders!
