Ok...I am not a dumb guy...or at least I don't think so, but I feel like I suffer from this "want to believe" syndrome that I have read about. Every time I see an online opportunity even though I know in my head its fake, I always want to "give it a chance" lol, anyone else have this problem? For now I have just decided to become more cynical.

Yes, I have and I am not proud of it. However, being desperate enough to really want to earn something, I have, like yourself taken risks and learnt the hard way. To date, I must have paid up a few hundreds to these scammers and I only wish there's some way they can be convicted and made to refund everyone they have conned. Now I am being more careful and still trying for the opportunities but with my eyes wide open. Take time to find out about any site which offers good deals. In fact nowadays, I only try out those that I can join free and take it from there. Not earning alot, but more peace of heart and mind.

You're not dumb. It's just normal to feel that way because I also feel the same. There are just some offers around the world that you just can't resist. The offers seemed a lot too-good-to-be-true. In cases like this, before, I used to try things out that gives so much attractive offers without researching if it's just a waste of time or not. I've experienced a lot of scams myself and that's why right now, I'm at least careful on the sites that I'm joining. Mylot can be one of the scam sites. Who knows? BUt still, we gave it a try. When you join stuff like these, all you have to bear in mind is that join something which doesn't ask for money or hidden charges.

Everyone has. No you're not stupid. Unless you've been scammed before there is no way you would know it is. Some of them are downright too good to be true, some are really well hidden scams. Just learn from your lesson and help others when they need answers too.
