Earlier I used to job for 30 minutes. Now I go for brisk walking for 30 to 40 minutes. exericse helps a lot in keeping our body trim and all organs in the body will be in good working condition.

Thats nice,But if you go for morning walking daily for 20 minutes only that will be more effective.

Dear Gourab, the prescription of timings will entirely depend on the age. In young age, even if you jog for 10 minutes that will be sufficient. For my age, the correct distance to be covered is 4.5 kms per day. So it takes 30 to 45 minutes to cover the distance wth brisk walking.

I try to take a nice long walk and brisk walk everyday. but if its raining or snowing I cant do it. I also think that my running around this house is a form of exercise too. I dont know how many times I have run up and down my steps everday.

I exercise everyday and on days I just can't ,I feel lethargic the whole day.Not just my body , even my mind doesn't respond. It's like I am working in a trance. So,I exercise under compulsion to stay alert and I feel good once I sweat out. It's better than having a hellish day.

No, I would like to do it, but the work schedule and my laziness prevent me from do it.
I am over the healthy Body Mass Index and was hoping that I can reduce 3 kg more to bring the weight to 80kg for a height of 178cm. Tried eating less and hoping to do more workout for the last 1 year but was not very successful.
I am trying it again, wish me luck...

I'll be honest, I wish I did exercise every day but I don't.
I don't exercise at all. I know that it's good for you but I'm just so lasy. I've been working out a few years ago and I know how good you feel after you do something for yourself but I just can't bring myself to actually do something.
I hope that it's just a strange phase in my life and that it will end soon and I'll get back on my feet.

I like to as it makes me feel so much better and more alive and energetic, but time doesn't always permit, and I have to skip it sometimes.
Thank you for bringing this up because it's time for me to diet and exercise regularly and get myself into shape.
Brightest Blessings.

I aim to exercise every day, but in reality it is 5-6 days/week. I do feel much better when I am working out consistently, and I know that it has many health benefits. I know what you mean about not having time some days. I try to get it done first thing in the morning. If I get on the treadmill before I even have coffee, there's no time to procrastinate and think up excused why I am too busy to exercise. That also leaves me time in the evening if I want to do some work with the weights for toning. Once I get into a routine I'm OK. I don't dare stop for longer than 1-2 days, because then it is so hard to get into it again.

I exercise everyday for more than 1/2 an hour. According to latest research, exercising about 15 mins will improve our blood circulation and excercise more than 1/2 hour will keep our body fit by burning excessive fat. There are exception though, i won't exercize if i am sick or lack of sleep. Coz it's harmful to exercise when we are sick or too tired. (reverse effect). Aside from exercize, i think diet and sleep is essential to keep us healthy and strong.

No, not as much as i need to. I'm so guilty of being a lazybone too. I used to do it every night for 30 minutes to 1 hour, just dancing - that is my exercise, but now no more. Being busy is not an excuse, i know. So what i do now is, if possible, i use to stairs or try to walk if the place i want to go is not really far.
I am planning to buy a workout video like taebo or pilates or bellydancing. It would be better if i have like a workout buddy so exercising would be much enjoyable.
I really would like to be fit again. I just don't have the right motivation and discipline. I feel soo sluggish. ΓΌ

Yes that a good feeling to do exercise ,I feel cool when my face is covered with sweat and I seldom use the makeup because I think the sweat run out from my pore can carry the disease which star in my body and skin ,also have no harnful which is did like the makeup .But now I have very little time to it .
One of my teacher told me that the exercise will help us to gather energy for our body to damp our body getting older ,but they would get the peak at the age of 24 or so ,and then the quality of our body's health will reduce with the growing of our age .

I haven't been exercising like I should be. I used to exercise three times a week but got out of it. Ihave a bad back ,knees, and back but I know it's hurting worse because of the fact that I'm not moving the joints. I should get back into the swing of things as I know it would help me alot.I never exercised every day as that is too much for the body.I have heard experts as well as my doc tell me that three times is enough. The body needs a chance to rest.

Yes I exercise everyday, well now I do atleast. I feel really good when I do it, kind of an accomplishment and it just gives me more energy. Sometimes I have to try and force myself to NOT go to the gym lol because my mind is always wanting to go there.
