I recently found out that you need to drink 6-8 cups of water a day to have the recomended amount of water...and if you have a pop/coffe you'de have to drink an extra 8 ounces to flush that out of your system..has anyone else heard this, or better queston, do YOU drink 6-8 cups of water a day?

U r right. On an average, a person has to drink atleast 7 cups of water a day. It is essential to clean our system regularly. I went for an eyecheck recently and I was told I have power in both the eyes. The doctor said there are various reasons for this and she said not drinking enough water is also one of the reasons. I stay in a very hot place and doctors here advice us to drink minimum 7 cups of water a day.

I drink I think sufficient amount of water a day. But I didn't know that we have to drink more if we drink pop or coffee. I thought these are parts of our regular liquid drinks that if I drink pop or coke, I may drink lesser amount of water. So it's the contrary, we have to drink more water if we drink soft drinks or coffee. Thanks a lot.
