I once had a very good friend and when I was a bachelor, I remember his parents treating me well, almost equivalent to a son. I was happy, until a misunderstanding creeping into our relation.
It was a silly reason and I dont know as to why, I took it seriously & there began a battle of egos. Begin in the same office, we didnt share a word or look at each other. We were invloved in pulling each other down. Even when at the club, we did the same. I dont know, what made me do so, but we did it.
But today, after almost 10 years or so, I feel kiddish about the incident and repent for it. One day, i made a visist to his house, as i had already moved out of that city and did attempt to reconcile. But I was humilated.
I dont know whether I deserve it, but now I feel bad. Did I do anything wrong?
Please guide me. Have you ever had such a situation? Have you ever regrretted for doing wrong?

it's very difficult to comment, since i donot know the reason behind all these. however, it seems that whatever it may be at this point in time its more of ego battle and while you have come in terms with what has happened but your friend never did. so, it's better to let go and donot apologise and go down to feet as you have already done it once before and was humiliated. i know, it's very easy saying nice value stuff, but it really hurts. still, i know, it's always wise to let go things, which are not meant to be with us. it's good for both of you. having said this, we never know what is there in store for us in future, let's be hopeful.
as reagrds me, well, i have been going through such a situation, more graver, more hurting, more irreparable and more deadly....it concerns my husband and me and we have decided to part ways....
thanx

we can only give our opinions about your discussion but the real fact is that you should know from within whether you did right or wrong.I mean we are all adults, also you haven't mentioned the exact situation.Did you steal his girl or what,I mean no one can be so rude.
I can tell you from my experience that sometimes you have to make decisions in your life, maybe some harsh ones but thats the way it is.You dont always have to be right to go down. You can still make up.
But man take it from me if you have stolen his girl I don't think he'll ever forgive you.
have a nice day!
