If ABBA were an US based band........

If ABBA were an American band,then they would have been more successful than any other band....including the Beatles.
ABBA were the first act of their kind from their country,and enjoyed a modest following at home ....I mean to say that their support from home was very very modest indeed when compared to their successes outside Sweden.
The Beatles were great ..no doubt about that ....but in my humble opinion ABBA would have been just as esteemed,and would have received some more awards had they been Americans, or for that matter British.
What do you think?

I fully endorse yours view on this, to me ABBA were the soothest thing ever poured in my ears which drenched my soul. They were not American, which greatly effected the stature they realy deserved. I still daily hear there songs and even my daughters enjoy them too.
