No, i do not like Durian in fact i almost choked when i had it first, in Singapore. I am content with mangoes, grapes, apples, oranges. But, Durian is a definite no no... for me. Durian i feel can be best utilized for cooking, where the strong flavor can be masked. It's very popular in Singapore though.

yes i really love durian . . . the fresh fruit , candies , pie , ice cream & chips. i can always buy this fruit in DAVAO city but the chips i can buy at the Thai restaurant only. i hope you also have durian pie there in singapore 'coz it absolutely gives out a very creamy filling in the pie crust & very delicious when serve hot with a scoop of durian ice cream for topping !

Yup, I love durian. When I was so young, I could eat tons of durians within a day. That's just an expression how I love the durians.:)
I'm not fond of the smell, but I guess, when I smell the durian, I know the fruit is around, and I started to drool. hahaha..
Especially when they make the durian and mixed it with ice and some other traditional stuff, in Indonesia we call them es campur. Ah, I just so love them.

Yes - some people love them, some hate them, even in Asian countries. I live in Malaysia & I adore durians. Durians these days comes in different grades, some claiming to be designer durians! It comes pretty reasonbly priced these days, possibly because of ample supply locally as well as from Thailand. :)

i am from the Philippines and Durian is also popular her but guess what, I have NEVER tasted Durian fruit only the candy hehe.. Some peopel dislike it only because of its smell but they say that the smell is nothing once you tasted the fruit itself. I dont know why until i havent tried it though.:)
