Do you judge a person in order to be u're freind?

What's u're first impression about someone? is it his/her clothes the way she/he looks; the way he/she looks at u; the way he/she walks etc. When u begin a conversation are u able to tell if he/she is a good/kind person or bad? and if so, do u SELECT people, to be u're freind? or for u it doesn't matter if he/she is good/bad, rich/poor, educated, not educated, selfish, shy etc.
