What can you say a church is?

Hey mylotters. How can you define church? A house of God, a place of worship? What does it do for the government?

i thinck a church is a place in wich the pray have much powers becouse in there all the people pray's to God and the prayer arrived much up....and is more powerfull.I thinck that a churc is house of God and i thinck that is verry good to go and pray there.
