among the 5 idols, kelly clarkson, ruben studdard, fantasia barino, carrie underwood, and taylor hicks, who is/are your favorite/s?
mine's kelly and fantasia. :)

Mine is definitely Kelly Clarkson, followed by Ruben Studdard. I love Kelly, she's got this appeal that I can't get enough of. She's a great singer and has followed her niche nicely. I loved Ruben, and still do. I don't listen to Gospel, but I have heard some of his music after his original debut and I still love his voice.

i agree with what you said about kelly. she's really great. i don't get to hear much from ruben though. i hope they give him more projects.

My favorite American Idol winner is Fantasia and Reuben. I love their voices so much. Don't get me wrong. All of the winners can really sing but these two are my absolute favorites. So have you been looking at American Idol this season?

fantasia's my favorite too. i think aside from her voice, she has a very true personality.
yeah, i've been watching ai this season. but i think this season is not as good as the past seasons. there are a few good ones but i find the others a bit boring. but it's too early in the season anyway. we'll see as it unfolds.

Overall, my most favorite has been Carrie Underwood. She has awesome Talent. I also enjoyed Taylor, but he is keeping so quiet since the release of his CD. Personally, my husband and I are not fans of Fantasia.

My favorite Idol would have to be Carrie Underwood. I think she's an amazing singer. Plus she's the first person that I routed for that actually won, lol. I like all of the Idols but it's a shame that ruben and fantasia aren't really that popular like kelly and carrie and taylor.

yeah, i'm beginning to see how good she is. i think all the idols are actually popular in their own ways. i've been reading a some statistics recently on album sales and hit charts and all of the idols are actually doing pretty good. that's with the exception of ruben though because his runner up is doing better than him. but according to numbers, kelly is definitely the most popular idol.

It's qute difficult to pick up cause no one is like a shooting star that we pay a lot of attention on him/her. But if i have to choose, I think Melinda Doolitle deserve to be the star of this session. She has a talent to be a star. She's even so low profile though she has the voice. She don't have to be polished to show up that she's the best in this season.
