If child is one year old ,the period of age will be gorwn up course as important as possible. While she needs adult attention at the time of day. That is does ont matter who is caring of a child as long as there is someone around. you can tell her the simplest life skill.Example:take feeding-bottle drink milk on her own,do encourage her to be try to speaking "mummy ""daddy"etc.we ought to speak story with her every evening although she do not rememeber. Never mind! gradually you must be get discover that she speak of ability develop so fast.

There is loads you can teach her, you can encourage her to build towers with blocks, sit her in front of you with a toy she likes, hide it under a blanket and she if she can find it. You may have to help her until she understands that its under the blanket. With you playing with your daughter, you are teaching her loads even though it might not seem like it.
Talk alot to your daughter about colours, shapes and objects. Read books as this will help her language develop. Most of have fun with her, she is after all still one, dont expect too much from her as she will develop in her own time.
