Why is self-esteem important?

For women, to love themselves means self-confidence, that is to say, to take good care of her own feeling, emotion, need, and desire are also self-confidence.

Self esteem is very important to have.With low self esteem it reduces your success in life.If you really want something in life and you have low self esteem will be in the way of everything.You have to have confidence in yourself.If you dont have then no one else will.

Its most important self esteem ,you can walk anywhere with your head held high.

Never will it happen that successful man and woman reach their position in the abscense of outstanding self-esteem. Any noble idea in motion can not have the accuracy if the person who initiated it is weak. It is therefore a necessity for anyone to value themselves so as to earn trust of people around him.

Self esteem is the very thing that breeds self confidence. It is self confidence that gives us the drive to pursue for those things which we believe shall be good for us if we secure it for ourselves. Because of self confidence, we strive to make it through in school. We believe that we can make it if only we will give it a try. Because of self confidence, we believe we will make it through with the tests the government gives for licensure purposes of some professions. Because of self confidence we apply for jobs, breeze through the exams companies give and the interviews that follow suit. So you see now, what self esteem does for you?

Each people all have self-esteem,and the self-esteem is an important thing for everybody.In my heart ,i thought that ,the self-esteem is may not have.The chinese has a speech ,may not have the arrogance,but can't not have the lofty character .So ,i thought that ,the respect others,first we must respect ourself,then we can win others' respect...

We must first love ourselves if we are to love others. It is so important to have a good self image so that we can raise a family and be comfortable within our families. If we are filled with self doubt we will be unable to function and do things to raise a good family and home. Relationships will be slavish if we count on others for our well being entirely. I don't think you can truly love someone else if you dont love yourself first.
