No really, they've come up with a cunning plan to store plan to store gigawatts of electricity created from wind in refrigerated warehouses normally used to store food. I know what you're thinking – I had to check my calendar also – but no, it's not April Fools. Now one's knee-jerk reaction is that this seems like a really wacky idea. However, once you wrap your brain around the underlying concept it actually makes a lot of sense.
