Long distance relationship, to deal or not to deal?

I know some of you have been through long distance relationships. Some worked, some don't. But if you could share your experiences (good or bad), it's not for me to learn but others to realize what are the risks, the possibilities, and how much you can wait for someone you love when he/she is in another place.

i think that long distance relationship is the best kind there is.. because despite the distance you still trust each other and that is one of the best foundations of a lasting relationship..
