New Zealand fishermen have caught what is expected to be a world-record-breaking colossal squid.

That's a lot of calamari! Seriously though, stories such as these make me wonder about the old tales of sea monsters and serpents. If there really was a lot more truth to them than we give credit to....

Wow, what a beautiful creature and such a pretty colour too! I think a lot of the old stories were probably true but as we got better at Fishing creatures simpley never got the chance to grow to full size.
What a magnicicent catch, I would have had to let the por thing go.

WOW it's quite big. I have heard about a giant squid that found near NZ too (i didn't remember it too well, because i heard that several years ago). Now it's a bigger squid than before. WOW that's really big, but there is something bother me. why it's red? i'm trying to find the scientific reason here.
