what has been your maximum speed and in which car?

Well, my maximum speed was 120 km/h. That's enough for me! And I don't want to get a fine! My husband once drove 180 km/h. It was at night, and he was hurrying to me from the north (we live in the middle of the country). Luckily, he had neither fine nor accident, thank God!

My maximum speed would be 90 mph on Nissan Altima.

My top speed that I reached was 160-170 km/h in a Dacia Logan 1.4. I could go faster but I didn't wanted to because to road wasn't so good and I was afraid that I will crash. If I find a road that is good and no one is on it I will go faster than this. But until that day I will try to drive safer than faster. ;)

Im just a new driver. I drive a 1989 Nissan Sunny California, the wagon version. Since the tachometer and odometer are busted, I'm not quite sure on how fast I drive my cars. But with my experience being the passenger, I think that I've already reached 80mph when the road is wide open and there are no intersctions.

Really? And what was the speed limit where you were driving? Were you speeding? I feel that speeding in that manner at the types of speeds being listed in your post and the responses are completely immature and irresponsible. You could EASILY lose control of your car at those speeds, especially if the weather conditions are less than stellar, and kill not only yourself, but any passengers, pedestrians and other innocent motorists and their passengers, including young children. I hope that you all think twice the next time you feel the need for speed and take others' safety into consideration, if not your own.

my maximum speed in a car was 155mph (250km/h) in a 94 Chevy Camaro Z28. I had just finished modifying the intake and complete exhaust. It was alot of fun, although my current car (06' Pontiac GTO) feels much more stable at comparable speeds.

mine is, Intrepid with 240 km/hr. and i just loved to drive it. it was just AWESOME.

Well u remember we did it together , mine is 150km/hr in the same car . Well i don't drive fast.

i'm still amateur in driving cars, so my max speed is 60 kph in m800. i'm good at riding bikes, i drove a discover at 95kph dat was it's top speed and it started shaking. But victor is very stable at high speeds.
