Last week one of my very dear friends was wisked away to Cancun for a lovely Valentines weekend. How romantic! Because I have a very un-romantic partner, I got to stay home and babysit her dog. a little Yorkie named Toto. Now you have to understand this is not a just a dog, and not just a beloved pet. This is a child. She refers to him as her boy and never uses the "D" word. I was a wreck all weekend. I was so afraid I would step on him or he would get out un-noticed. Has anyone ever babysat a pet and experienced similar feelings?
