Do you think it's more common than the other way around? Could you ever see yourself in this situation? Why and why not?

I am in a relationship right now that he is 46 and I am 25. we get along great and love each other very much. age is just a number and if you get along and can make it work why does it matter.

I'm not totally sure if it's more commom that having an older woman with a younger man but i'd say it probably it. I met my partner when i was 17 and he was twice my age at 34! There are 17 years difference between us but we don't even notice the age gap. I find that i need a more mature man to understand me, and i really couldn't imagine going out with a man more my own age - i just find them so immature and they just have no real experience of life (i'm now 23, btw!). I don't think age matters with regards to love. We love each other completely and that's all that matters to us.

I think the older man, younger woman thing is awesome. My husband and i have been together for 15 years now and married for 12 of those. He is 15 years older than me and we get along really well together. Guys my age are too immature and they do not want to settle down. My husbanmd was married for 16 years before me and he divorced because his wife of the same age cheated on him.

Older men are usually on the same maturity level as the younger girl they date. However, it all depends how the relastionship started and sometimes the guy being older feels like they can control the younger one or end up feeling like their parent. As long as there is communication, love, honetsy and mutual respect, it is probably the ideal situation, depending on how big of an age difference.
