How Large or Small is Your Cat?

My cat Molly is a Siamese, which is a fairly small breed, and she is tiny. She is literally about the size of a smallish rabbit! She weights just 6lb, but she is a healthy adult cat. I am strangely proud of this, I can't really explain it. She is known as 'Little Mol'. I have another Siamese called Tula who is also small but not as tiny as delicate little Molly. Do you have a tiny or huge cat? How about other pets such as rabbits or guinea pigs?

I have four cats, the largest of whom is a giant. "Big" is not in anyway chubby, he's just LARGE. His paws are twice the size of any of the other three's, and when he's stretched out on the floor, he measures just a whisker under four feet, from his nose to the tip of his tail. He tips the scale at about 22lbs... and is MOSTLY Norwegian Forest Cat with something else thrown in that gives him silky cloud-soft fur.

22lbs! Wow, that's nearly 2 stone! I must go and weigh my dog and see how he compares! I would love to see your cat against ,I Molly, I can imagine how comical that would look. She would look miniscule :-)

I'd say my cat is small to medium. I'm sure she's getting bigger, i certainly think she's getting a belly on her, so we might have to slim her food down a bit. She does look lke a large kitten in piccies of her, and i call her my baby-cat cos she's quite iccle compared to other cats i've known. She's quite long though, has anyone else noticed how long cats seem to be when they stretch?

I notice that! It's the same with my dogs too! They streatch out to twice their length, and curl into tiny balls. It's quite amazing, they are so different from us in that way. I also always notice how my animals stretch before getting up in the morning, so sensible - we really should do the same.

I have 3 cats and two of them are huge that would be Molly and Maggie they are the M&M girls.LOL I got them from a animal shelter when they were just kittens. And now they are huge. My other cat Blackie is small she came to me one day and never left I think she was the runt of the litter. And now she is part of the family.

This is funny that you have a huge cat called Molly and I have a tiny one! I think my Molly was the runt of the litter.

My cats are both about 15 lbs. Loki is a little on the fat side, but Beaux is not. He's a very muscley panther kitty.

My cat is a big cat, not fat, just big, she's about the same weight as yours, maybe a little heavier, when in full coat, her name is Cleo and she's a ginger longhaired female. I have four guinea pigs, spike, terence, milligan and heather.

How off that your cat be the same weight as mine but be large - I suppose that's mainly due to a lot of fur!
