No, Indian captain is really good in recent times. If you check the performance of Sunil Gavaskar (test captain) and Kapil Dev (Odi), they have the best performance against strong teams in away matches. Azhar, Ganguly, Dravid have all prospered in home conditions to a huge extent. With regards to Ganguly, check the times of india rating of him as a captain, his winning percentage plummets (in ODI's) to 43% if you remove his wins against weak teams like Zimbabwe, kenya, Bangladesh etc. However, Ganguly is a big beneficiary of the media hype, because he was alway's controversial by nature and frequently got banned or got his match fees docked. As far as the best performance in ODI's is concerned no one has ever bettered the 1983 ODI team. So, Kapil's devils are the best. Lot of people just go by media hype and sms polls, in reality statistics reveal the true picture.

yes i am definetly angree with you...but ganguly's performance was becoming poor and poorer in his captaincy....and that is the reason he was out from team..he never use to do field after batting.....its really hectic feeling for other players....and i think dravid should continue with captaincy he can improve himself very well.......
