AMD v's Intel

I think if a user is more budget oriented,then the AMD is processor is the best one for him as it has great motherboards for less prices and the integrated graphics is also better.... However if a user is performance oriented,then i would suggest the Core 2 Duo from Intel as it has higher performance and lower heat/power margins...... I would say that at the present situation after the huge price cuts from both intel and AMD camps this year the entire processor market is going great and the winner is obviously the customers..... I were to choose between the two,currently i would choose a cheaper intel Core 2 Duo and overclock it to the extreme and then have the performance of a high end machine.....

Only technical persons know about them i am a computer shop owner and i use AMD for my work and i also prefer AMD, because its amazing vikceo (1059) said AMD is even not that bad.. only problem is it was not marketted well.. else it is as good as Intel marketing is a problem I say AMD is the best of the Best.

i prefer AMD since i am using one.I use AMD because --comparatively cheap --high performance --high stabilty --greater support for gaming i recommned AMD FX 64 bit computing.It has many advantage over intel pentium 4 processors.but i heard that intel pentium duo core2 is much better than other precedures and a like performance with AMD 64.so i f you are going to buy a new computer either you go for AMD FX 64 or Pentium 4 Duo core 2. thank you!

hehehe I'm with you, I think intel core2duo is still overpriced right now, if you in hurry you should go with amd x2 I think, it's more price realistic than intel, AMD rulllllls again, I'm also user of amd, all my pcs using amd processor, but I'm not an amd fanboy, since I will go the one with more value for money.

i think it is amd...i am using amd... but my friends told me that inte duo core 2 is better than amd!

couldnt agree with u more, pal...AMD does really provide a fat lot of value for ur money...and its simply unbeatable for gaming...though i think intel is just a step ahead when it comes to tech research...

AMD is much better for most of the cases although the new dual core series from intel are the best.
