Will another coalition government solve Italy's current crisis in government? The coalition parties in Italy's government have agreed a 12-point deal to back Romano Prodi as prime minister. Mr Prodi resigned earlier this week after several coalition partners voted against his plans to send troops to Afghanistan. President Giorgio Napolitano is to hold further crisis talks on Friday and will make the final decision on whether Mr Prodi should go to parliament with his present cabinet for a vote of confidence or form a new government. With nine political parties in the coalition including the Communists, the Greens and Catholics, can such diverse opinion ever work together? How should Italy solve its political crisis? Should there be another election?,will be the new government able to solve the crisis? discuss

i am italian and in the last elections i trusted romano prodi. I hope he will keep on governating italy and hope the situation will soon be resolved. Nine political parties are too much, it is hard to agree each other when thought are so many but I keep on trusting the coalition, I think they will find a solution.
