We all make mistakes, but sometimes they end up being sweet mistakes. What is the sweetest mistake you've ever made? Was it an unexpected child, an error at work, or just something foolish you've done?

I am not sure if this what you are looking for, but one of the best or sweetest thing that has ever happen to me is my having Vascular Dementia. At first they thought it was Alzheimer's, and my world came crashing down,I was put on medication, and it helped a bit, but it still was awful. if you can imagine living your every day in side of a deep diving suit, pretty well describes it. But my doctor picked up on the fact that I wasn't getting worse, and with Alzheimer's you do get worse as there is no cure and nothing will stop the progression, so I was re evaluated, also given a bit more medication. and my life has changed dramatically for the better, It diagnosis is now Vascular Dementia, and it will progress. but not as quickly as Alzheimer's. So now I do have time to see and smell the roses, as well appreciate each and every day I am here, There are no guarantees given out at our birth, and there is an expiry date, what we do in between is our life. Thank you

Well for me children aren't a mistake. Not being picking at you, i'm just saying. I guess it would be something foolish i've done, i often try and be sweet towards my wife and often mess it up in incredilby silly but funny ways. I can't come up with an example becuase i'm currently unable to think clearly. (flu) i hate being ill. hehe Kudos ~Joey

In hindsight, I don't think it was a mistake at all, but it felt like that back then. Till it all changed. Till I saw her. I'm not the most social of people, and I respect my privacy. My parents were trying to get me to accompany them to a wedding reception of a distant relative, one whom I had never seen and only heard about in passing, and so I was not too keen on going. I really didn't have anything else that had to be done so I had no proper excuse to back out. My father managed to persuade me to go, and I went, thinking all the while that it was a mistake. Even out there, I hardly saw anybody of my age. Most of the guests were old timers, people of my parent's generation and I noticed that none of them were accompanied by their children. I was even more miffed. It was then that I saw her. She was really gorgeous and at the same time, seemed a picture of simplicity. I was struck by her beauty. I went up to her and struck up a conversation and found out that she was pretty intelligent too. In minutes, it was like we knew each other for years. She was no relative, but the daughter of a family friend. We hit off pretty well that day and went out for a couple of dates, and that did it. We are now seeing each other and are in a committed relationship. We wouldn't even have met if I hadn't made the 'mistake' of attending that reception that I did not want to attend!
