Would people still be so shallow if nobody was obese or overweight?

I've recently lost 120 pounds and people treat me completely different now. From torturing me to hitting on me.
If our size depends on how people treat us then what if everybody was around the same size?
Do you think they'd find some other physical attribute to determine how we're treated?

First of all, congratulations on losing the weight. But I'd say yes, people would still be shallow if no one was overweight. They's start in on someone's nose, or how big a person's ears stuck out. Then they would/do move on to the type of clothes a person wears... It's never ending. At least you recoginize, have experienced it, and that marks one up for the good guys, since I doubt you'd do the same to anyone else having lived it.

Yes, absolutely they would. Some people just need a scapegoat and they will ALWAYS find something. They are all bully/cowards and know that they will not be perceived well if they pick on somebody for a handicap. They also know it's not acceptable to be racist. So they fixate on weight which is heartbreaking for people who are over weight. They really do get picked on unmercifully and I feel so sorry for them. It's hard to loose weight when people are doing things that keep your self esteem low and that puts overweight people into a vicious cycle that is very, very hard to break.. Anyway, congratualtions on your weight loss and I hope you can give positive inspiration to others trying to lose weight.

Excellent job on losing that much weight. I think that even if we were all super model skinny that people would still find other reasons to make fun of each other. Big nose, smell funny, bad job, etc... There are a lot of people who get all of their joy out of putting down other people. Sick, but true.

wow!!! that's a lot of weight you lost there, congratulations! that is a fabulous work. i experience the same thing, people tend to like you and more into you if you are slim and well curved body. I noticed that when i lost some weight too. those people that tend to not talk to me now strikes a bit of a conversation.
I agree that people will always find something wrong with other people.so even if all are the same size they'll still find something to criticize.
