YEs Do you feel like you are acting like your mother sometimes? To be honest with you sometime i feel like I am acting exactly like her. I try not to but I just couldn't help it. It's not bad though Is just that sometime I have a question like. Oh my god Was I that bad as a child? Was I that naughty...? Anyway please tell me your experience and what you think ...

My 2 sons are now 19 and 22 and yes I did find after I had them that I acted like my mother. I found the things she used to say to me as a child I would say to mine. The awful thing is usually you vow to yourself that when you have children you will never treat them like your mother treated you - and then you do. Also you do develop a new respect for your own mother as you have a better understanding of what she went through. My mum had 5 children and I only 2 and I think my word we must have driven her mad. I don't know how to break it to you but think back to when you were a teenager and the rows you had then - you have it all to look forward to with your own children - but with you as the bad guy who doesn't understand.

I have 3 children. All of them a handful lol. I find that every now and then I talk like my mother or father when I'm talking to my children and teaching them something. Even my wife has noticed and kids me from time to time.

Yah, i do feel like i'm acting like my mother..it's hard to be a mother, in fact, i'm a single mom but i can manage. When i was a child, i'm not bad or naughty, i'm a behave one very behave..My daughter this time, very active and very naughty..Sometimes, i want to spank her because she's crying but without reason to cry. And after bath, she wants to run around without clothes coz she wanted me to catch her, and i feel so tired but it's fun sometimes..lol I cant imagine my self that i'm already a mother, that i have this cute daughter who makes my day happy and makes my life complete..

It is hard for me to explain. I act like her more in other areas of my life since my son was born, but when it comes to dealing with him I am not like her at all. I am very, very loving and nurturing to him. I enjoy being very hands on, being down on the floor playing and coloring right along with him. I never felt very nurtured from my mom unless I was sick. I also feel that I can relate to him and how he is feeling about something, whereas my mother never seemed to try..... probably because I was the last of four kids and she just didn't have the time.
