Forgeiners get less jail time!?

In the UK if a forgeiner murdered/killed a human being they would only get 6 years... to which is always halved so 3 years for killing some one, a british citizen who has earned a living and paying to be legaly in this home country, where as the person commiting the murder is not meant to me in this country.
same applies to police procedures, they can drive around with no tax or insurance and police will do next to nothing, if it was a person who actually is meant to live here, they would get a large fine plus more than likely jail time!
What stupidity britain has!
Surely something should be done about this!
My little story and stress that has gone into this is purely because of 2 killings very recently by some asian men who are not meant to legaly be in the country.
I'm not a racist but this isnt right at all!

I think that the law of the land should be applied equally to all people who commit a crime, i.e in this country a life sentence can mean up to 30 years in jail. Therefore if somebody commits a crime and is sentenced to life in prison it should not be shortened because they are not British.
