where everything goes wrong, the cat scratches becase she has to be bathed because she smells bad, the kids won't get ready, a woman compliments you on your kids behaviour when you are out to lunch and you thank her wondering if she meant it in a nice way. You get home, the dog's ripped the bin cupboard open, the door is hanging off and the bin is empty all over the kitchen and lounge where she's weed. You decide to clean the bin and when it's fill of water knock it over with the wheelie bin, water everywhere. The kids start fighting while you clean up and the phone rings with some information you needed and cannot put off, you run for the phone, slip on a crisp packet and rip your little toe nail off on the sofa. The dog pinches your commiseratory mug of hot chocolate. Your other half gets home, and fixes the cupboard. The doghas now pood behind his car which you have to tidy up and clean his boots and the drive in the dark with the hose. You make tea and the dog's pinching off the kids plates, food everywhere. Then you find more tea on the hallway and dining room carpet when you've just redone the lounge floor. The cat is damp from the rain and has laid on your bed and now your other half is bleating about the bedding and you have to change the bed too, the kids are still not in bed at nearly pm and there's still the pots to do.
Ok so that was my day, what's the worst day like this you can remember?

Nearly everyday is one of those days for me. Some kind of drama is always going on in my life. No matter what I do. Sounds like you had a pretty bad day with all the things you mentioned. That's by far the worst day I've ever heard of. I haven't had that bad of a day before. I don't have kids or dogs right now. I just have cats. They're pretty bad, but not even close to your dogs. Hope you have better days than that in the future.

Can't imagine the cat smelling that bad.
Am proud of my kids since they are acting right when in public which is what I taught them. The dog should have been tied out or in the back yard. Anyway, begin to clean up with the kids help. I let the voice mail pick up the message. The dog is outside and not getting any food or drink from humans, he has his own.
Dogs gets no where near the driveway.
We lay a towel over the damp spot.
The kids are warned that there will no dessert for the rest of the week if they don't get to bed and be quiet.
What pots need done? Those can be done in the morning!!
When I have those days, it is noted this way.
I say fine! Whatever! and just function for the duration of the negative energies. Having avoided most of yours as you see I have not such a tough time of it.
May you never expererience the negativity of that day ever again!!!

You make me laugh so much, I do not often have a day this bad, they're often bad but this was extreme even for me.
I don't know where the bad karma came from but boy did it get me. I ended up in tears at one point, it was so tempting to just go to bed and hide.
The magic 8 ball did tell me my day would get better, and it did, goen 11pm laid in bed with a book and a mug of hot lemon.
I shall think you you next time the naughty fairy decides to make me her project for the day.
Thank-you my friend!

Aw, Rainbow, I'm so sorry that you had a day like that! :( I feel bad today, but it's nothing as bad as your story. I just feel really down, I miss my best friend, my online work is going very frustratingly, etc. I just want the weekend to be over, or at least I want today to be over with, because I'm not really enjoying myself at all. I hope that we both have much better days tomorrow! ^_^

Oh my darling you sound so miserable, please feel free to dump all that negativity on me if you want, I can't make it go away but I can listen.
I often have bad days but Friday was extremem. today I get to mend furniture the boys have broken in their room, fighting and climbing, if I could see the floor in there I'd be doing well, but as it is Sunday thay are just on their way to Grandma for lunch and when I've finished my coffee it's room tackling time. Bong is back at school tomorrow so my days should get a little easier. Tuesday Roo's back at playschool for the morning so peace will rule in my home.
I hope you have a much better day today!
Big Big Hugs!

Oh you need a hug!
I have weeks like that were it just seems like it is one thing after another and they just keep happening over and over. So I suppose like many others have said at least you got it over with in one day.
I hope you get to take a bubble bath to make up for it!

Thanks for the hug, I feel a bit better today, except the kids have totallly trached their room and I now have shelves to fixand tidying to do while they are at granmas this afternoon - out of my way, lol.
I might even get a bubble bath before they get home, I've tried to stay in bed the last 2 mornings as it might be safer, lol.

I doubt havin a day like that. I always take things easy, do one thing at a time and cool . I do the ones i know i can and do the others later. I have never had a near crash moment. When it gets closer to that, i will relax and think, then pray to God to give me strenght. IT WORKS.

You didnt have a day - you had a WEEK! LOL! Missus, you got to sit down and have a cuppa yourself. Tell the spouse to change the flippin bed since he's bleatin and give youeself some "me" time. I hope your foot is alright, too.
Yes, I do recall being at work and had 6 reports to type up before the end of the day and my typewriter went on the fritz in the middle of the first one. It took maintenance 2 hours to give me a new one and I began again. While the typewriteer was down, not a single phonecall or a request from anyone. Now all hecdk's broken loose, people are wanting this and that, the phone wont stop and by noon how many reports I have typed? One. Then the sod comes in, reads it and sees he made 2,000 errors and takes it to his desk to red pencil the corrections. While I'm off to my lunch, the boss calls me into the conference room and asks me to take notes because his secretary had to take her kid to the dentist. No lunch, 6 reports to do and I get back to my desk with a microwave can of soup I got from the machine and eat it between pages. 4 get done by 3pm and I know I cant finish the 1st one the engineer had corrected before 3:30pm. I get the 5th one finished by 3:30 and the project managers came in, thanked me and took their reports to their meeting. In walks the sod as I begin typing his. He gives me a rant and I turn to him, informing him his was completed at 10am and he didnt return it until 1:30. He had to wait his turn in line. He turned red and left me. By 4:15 (30 minutes after my off time) the almost twice the length than it was in the morning report was ready and bound. I called his admin assistant and she came for it. He left work 5 minutes after he saw me! She told me she didnt know why he wanted it so quickly, the head engineer wouldnt be in until the next week to read it! I banged my head on my desk as she left. There ought to be a law!

i noticed if i have one of those horrific days just like the ones you mentioned , i am usually up to my toes in the morning where i start worrying then that's where it all starts. my whole day would be in a mess,as if everything is upside down! but if i tell myself that everything will be alright , usually, it turns out to be that way.

ha=ha yes, usually I deal with each little problem and the rest of the day can be calm but yesterday it avalanched, I was completely bowled ower by my day, the usualy bits the kids do I can cope with, thecats bath, ok a lot of cleaning and mopping up but I'm good lunch out I can cope, but when I saw how my doy had wrecked my home after 3 hours alone I knew my snowball was definately on it's way down the mountain. Needless to say I stayed in bed with my book this morning to give the naughty fairy the chance to forget to bother me, lol.

Wow. I'm exhausted just from reading that! I'm sorry you had such a terrible day. I'm sure we all have them from time to time. I know that I have probably blocked the memory of my latest worst day, as it is something I would like to put behind me as soon as possible.
Any chance you could crate-train your dog? We have one for our puppy to sleep in. We've started to put her in it when we run errands, too, after coming home to find the contents of the bathroom garbage bin scattered throughout the house. We put the bin up, too, but we don't trust her now.

At least you got it all over with in one day instead of spread out over a whole week. It's a small consolation.
The worst bad day I've had lately was my oldest's birthday. The night before the baby wouldn't stay asleep unless I held him. I didn't get to start baking the cake until 3 am and then I burned it. The baby finally fell asleep for good at 7 am so I decided to take a quick nap til 8 but my alarm didn't go off and I slept until noon when the baby woke up again. I hurried to get around to make a trip to town, got out to the van before I realized I was still wearing my pajama top. Ran back in the house just in time to here the phone ringing. It was my l-t b/f saying he needed me to come over to his parents so he could go to town too. I drove over there almost running out of gas on the way only to realize I'd left all my money except for $3 in change in my other pants. I pulled in his parents driveway, hit a patch of ice, couldn't stop and plowed into our pick-up truck. Oh yeah and somewhere along the way my muffler fell off. So we got ready to go to town together and were almost ready when the baby had an explosive diaper and had to get a complete change, our next oldest spilled his juice cup all down his shirt and the almost 4 year old went to the bathroom on his own and dribbled down his pants. We finally got out the door and loaded up. We had to use a spare car seat that a friend had accidentally left there because the kids grandmother had forgotten to leave the ones from her car and I didn't have mine with me. When we finally made it into town things mostly went smooth except for not being able to find a birthday cake and the store being out of the right size diapers in the brand we need for our toddler. I got home alright and her birthday dinner was fine. She actually liked having a cheesecake instead of a traditional cake. The baby didn't go to sleep that night either...
