He's cut off......

My brother has chosen to cut himself off from all family. for many years now we hear from him only every once in a while. he has had some bad habits and has suffered for them. No one wants him around, even our daddy, he has stolen so much in the past. Now he's sick and scared. He will be losing a lung soon. I love him and would like to help him, but where he goes.... trouble follows. At least thats the way its been in the past. being his sis ter i want to think he has learned his lesson and help bring him at least closer to where the rest of us are.... but i'm scared too, he has lived a rough life and again....trouble follows him

Your post makes me feel that you are a kind hearted person. The best thing you can do is try to help your brother. Forgive him for his mistakes and give him love and affection. Maybe he missed out on them earlier and followed the wrong way. Even if you help him, try to be a bit cautious and be on your guard. You should help him, but also see to it that you do not get into any trouble because of him.
