Medical Marijuana

Patients with AIDs, cancer, MS, and some other illnesses could be certified by their doctors to purchase medical marijuana. If I had the power to make this legal to help the people who need it I would. I think that as long as it is controlled by the government and is kept out of the hands of our children, it should be legalized. I feel that it should be as legal as alcohol. I used to smoke marijuana for a couple of years when I quit I had no problems. I drank for 2 years and had big problems quitting. I feel like the government might as well tax it and get some much needed money. What is your take on this issue?

Yes it should be legalized as there are some it helped. and with all substances there are those who will abuse it. I do believe it is a bit addicting, as it mellows the user out, and that is a good feeling, and this is an easy way to attain a good feeling. the only problem is some people believe that they need to feel that way all the time, while it is a good feeling it is also artificial, and we need to keep that in mind,

Yes I agree with you that it can be addicting. It should be used for medical reasons though, pain and nausea.
