We have an 18 year age limit on drinking beer and wine, and you have to be 20 to drink liqour. I just read in the paper that 1 in every three parents have bought alcohol to their underage children. I knew some people did this, but one in every three oarents? I think that was a lot. What do you think about this?

Personally I think it is morally wrong to do such things. I would never buy any alchol for my minor children as here in Michigan you have to be 21 to drink. I would actually report someone that does this as it is wrong nd if you do this you may as well promote a life of crime for your children as that is what you are doing for them, committing a crime!!

that was the thing when we were young we had to find a way to get our drinks as or parents never would have bought for us. I could not even steal it from my parents as my Dad is an Ordained Pentecostal Preacher and as such there was no alchol in our house. Thank you for the reply and have a great day!!

I think that this is alot also but i also think that parents most likely will do this as they would rather have their child drink at home rather than sneak off and try to experiment pn their own by going out and finding an illegal party. It is obvious though that this must happen as their is more and more under age drinkers these days. They have to get it from somewhere right? So unless there are just that many liqor stores breaking the law by not iding it is in fact being bought by someone of age!

I do believe it..from my past personal experiences,Ther was quite a few of my friends parents either one or the other would buy..and when i was 17 my dad would buy for me..he says since i was working full time..going to school and had my own apartment..he didnt see any reason why i couldnt have a few like an adult because i pratically was..Me personally I will NEVER EVER buy for my son..and i know many parents in my town tha have bought for there kids now,.,I guess its anever ending cycle in many cases,,im glad i broke ours.,.
