Watching in news about the Hezbollah group in South America. I was wondering if you would shoot a child who is threatening your life. Because the child will shoot you no matter what, they are trained little killers, probably the worst kind, because not many would agree on killing a child, even in war. What would you do? or what do you think? Peronally I don't know what I would do.

It's a tough question because I for one can't afford to kill a child. But if my life would really be at stake my terrorists like these children, maybe I will be forced to shoot them. I know that children are not supposed to be shoot during wars. But the mere fact that they have been trained to kill, so why not? Those killers should not be tolerated because once they grow older, they will become worse.

Not that any civilized person wants to shoot a child but if your own life is depending on it then I would say yes you would be forced to save your own life and shoot the child.

I think there is no answer to this question -- hehe. This is because one wouldn't know exactly what he/she would do if faced with a "no-win" situation. If faced by the reality of the situation you've mentioned (which I hope I wouldn't ever get to encounter), each decision or choice would be very dependent on what goes in one's mind at that very instant, and what emotions and feelings would predominate at that particular moment that will prompt one to act out of impulse. One wouldn't be too sure if conscience will still work in the same manner as we think or work right now. I may answer your question by saying that I will save my life but I have never even killed an animal, much more a human being -- and a child at that? One will only know once he/she actually got into the situation. Very difficult topic to answer, but very interesting!
