Have you written to them about this particular person? Perhaps sending Mylot a message might work. Another thing I like to do is make a joke out of their response.

oh yep. but unlike you who get a dddddddddddddd reply, atleast, mine was a combination of letters like: dghifdkjiealsdkjfie or shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... haha! see? so many people who are lazy and are just taking spaces in our discussions. responses which are obviously nonesense and won't help in resolving the discussions. such people don't use their brains at all. they are even lazy to think! i reported those as abuse. it took some days before they got deleted. but i am happy they were deleted. so, just be patient, it will be acted upon by our moderators. for now, remember that it's not only you who receive such annoying responses so you will not feel so much bad at all. have a nice day.

Are you hitting the negative (-) rating or hitting the abuse button (!) and reporting them? I would keep hitting the abuse button and reporting them until something is done. Otherwise, just ignore them and that's all you can really do.

All I would do is what you have already done. Don't worry their actions will catch up with them I know this. it is a shame that people will take advantage of this community like that, but trust me they won't get far here doing that.

That is just rude, like you said. We come here not only to make a little side money but to have good quality discussions. Atleast I know that is why I am here. I too would have marked the response as abuse. Just give it time and I am sure MyLot admins will do what is best. For now, just ignore the rude response.

Wow...that is crazy. No...this has not happened to me. I think that if the responses has not tipped off mylot..you may think about writing them and telling them about this poster. People like this are just ruining and bringing down the site for people who really want to use it correctly...good luck.

I would give him a negative rating. Hopefully you are rating everyone that responds to your discussion, since we benefit from the ratings. But someone like this does not need to be on myLot. One time I got a horrible response to one of my discussion and I reported it to myLot and they removed the user. Unsure if this qualifies but you might try. Good luck

I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems with a mylot user. I wish that there is something that i could do for you. But i don't even know who they are. I guess the only thing to do is report the abuse... and maybe the mylot watchers will soon get to that abuse and do something about it. I hope that this person who has been doing this doesn't mess up the fact of you liking mylot. I look forward to seeing more of your discussions. and good luck

Calm down; there are thousands of posts made here everyday. myLot has lots of things to do. How long passed between when you reported them and when you posted this? I hope that they do delete the post and do something about the person.

Mylot moderators should do something about spammers...

You did the right thing by reporting it to myLot as abuse as they will get to it eventually, if they have not already done so. People will do anything to get their posts up as well as earn more money so these types of responses should be reported. Hopefully it has been deleted since you posted this discussion.

i don't think it's rude as much as it is ANNOYING and plain dumb. the user will eventually get deleted, don't you worry :) i reported a similar user who was 'damaging' my discussions, and 2 days later, poof, he was gone! so it might take a few days, or longer depending if the user has a history at mylot or if they are relatively new. in the case of the member i reported (several times by the way!), he had only been a member for a few days, so i imagine, that's easier for mylot admin to deal with more quickly. if the user has a (2318) after their name, admin might have to go through many of their discussions to see just how abusive they have been, or if it is a personal attack on you, or what. if the user is still being annoying, go and keep reporting his posts, and then go back and mark them as 'negative' if you have the patience for it. but NEVER respond to the user! other than reporting, you should just wait and see what happens. i'm sure things will work themselves out, just be patient :)

That is very rude of the user that did make this response, did you also send mylot a message as I would of done this to them, and it all depends on how long ago this person responded like this they will not be paid money when the time comes I am sure they will get their money deducted for doing this and not responding correctly as we are supposed to.

I don't see it as rude - they aren't abusing you or swearing or anything ... but it is lazy. Obviously they are just trying to make some quick cash and think that it's easier just to write nonsense for each discussion they stumble across. Apart from advising mylot that it is abuse there is not much you can do. Hopefully others will report them too. Unfortunately there are only so many people working at mylot and just think of how many abuse messages they would receive a day - it just takes them awhile to sift through everything. Although its annoying - i'm sure they will leave mylot soon enough as they will discover that they aren't making any money for their one letter repeated posts. It's obvious that it's the only reason that they are here in the first place.

That is rude. I don't know much else you can do. That sucks. Maybe MyLot will get to it. i am sure they have a lot of issue to tend to. So hopefully, they will get to this too.
