A great brain teaser!!

Hi, i guess this is the answer: Just ask ,please tell me the way to ur town?? If the guy is from truthtown then he will tell u the correct way to his/her town which is the true town. Other case, if the guy is from liar town then he will tell the wrong way(as he will lie),which again is the truthtown. So by asking this question u can go to truth town. I have though about this answer n feel that it is correct,but if there is some simple or silly thing i have over looked ,then plz dont be too harsh on me , jus point out the mistake(but anyway that itself will be embarasing lol..,but i feel its correct?? well anyway waiting for ur reply ..)

I dont know please tell me. I've been studying the question and cant come up with an answer.

i would try to mess up the question just little bit.. by adding a lie like "Sir, is that road leads me to Liartown where people are honest and do not tell lies?" case#1 if i pointed my finger to Liartown's: he's from Truthtown if he tries to say "Yes, that's the road to Liartown.. but you're wrong..the honest ones live in Truthtown.." he's from Liartown if he tells "No, that leads to Truthtown..." case#2 if i pointed my finger to Truthtown's: he's from Truthtown if he says "No, that road leads you to my place Truthtown..people who live there truly aren't liars" he's from Liartown if he says "Yes, that road will lead you to Liartown..." the fact is..the truthful man will correct me.. while the other one will just agree with me that "people in Liartown are the honest ones" which is a lie and the man wasn't expecting that i'd say that..?

I would just ask him, "how do you get to your town?" Now if he was telling the truth, he would give you the directions to Truthtown, but if he was a liar, he would give you the directions to Truthtown, since he would lie about the directions to Liartown. Now if he were smart, he would say something like "What town?" and give you a look of incomprehension and add, "I am a stranger here myself."

I think you should ask him 'where is TruthTown'. If he's from TruthTown he tell you the right way and if he's from LiarTown he will tell you the wrong way and you'll know it's the opposite. Am I right? Just send me a message.

I don't know if this is correct but I'll try. Just ask him any easy question, if he told a lie then the other road leads to Truthtown.

Ask him if he is male or female, if he lies then you know he is from liar town and if he tells the truth then you follow him home.... lol. i think that is right!
