The best game ever made

I feel it is time to pay homage to what I feel is the best video game ever made. Originally released on the Super Nintendo console, Chrono Trigger went farther than any previous game. It introduced the idea of "replayability" by having more than 10 different endings, and a "plus mode" that allowed one to use the items and experience from one "conquered" game when one started over. Including a cast of vibrant characters ripped from many eras, Chrono Trigger had many rich and unique subplots and areas. If you love this game, give a shoutout, and if you haven't played it, find a copy.

It is time to pay homage indeed! The story line is just to good for tv. And Oh the music! I can't believe how every song fits the scene. They definitely went over the top with the battle system. The combo's, and the way that you can find items to make other combo's is wonderful. I only seen about 2 endings but I love the fact that there are others. It keeps the replay value high.

Hey Epic, between the video games and the Star Wars cartoons, how do you find time to collect your Star Trek figures? ;)

Yes this was a dam good game. I passed it like 30 times, (didn't get all the endings) I like it so much I got the remake for ps1. The only problem was the plus mode would not come up on the ps 1 verson and this made me very mad. i can't quite figure out what i am doing wrong. The story line is excellent and the time lines. This game is a 10/10. I still advise people to play it.

That;s odd that you couldn't get the plus mode, because I could have sworn that I have played it in plus mode on PS1. It is actually kinda funny, I am in the process of saving up for a new PS2 because mine won't play PS1 games. No Chrono Trigger = Broken System.

I *love* Chrono Trigger! It's easily my favorite video game ever. Magus was my favorite character in the game too. I have it on the SNES. I bought my copy from some guy a few years back.

Indeed, I agree that Chrono Trigger is the best classic RPG game. The story, characters, game play and animation were all 5 stars. I really enjoyed the Chrono Trigger music from the famous composer Yasunori Mitsuda. I love hearing the Far off Promise and Singing Mountains. It sounded like a lullaby or a music box. :)
