I am just wondering if I am alone in my love for ramen noodles. I do buy them alot because we are on a limited budget, but I absolutley love them! Oriental flavor is my favorite, with not so much water when you add the seasoning. If I am feeling especially risky with my diet I add butter. Does anyone else like these wonderfully cheap meal, and does anyone have any tips on how to spice them up a bit?

I don't love them, but they certainly help the budget. I have a few ways that I try to make them more interesting. One is to add frozen mixed vegetables. Sometimes I add a couple of drops of sesame oil and a tiny bit of soy sauce. If I'm feeling more ambitious, I heat up a frozen sausage patty, chop it up, and throw it into the ramen.

They do help the budget for sure! You have some good ideas to make them a little different. And thanks for the link, I was completely unaware that there was an official homepage for ramens. LOL Have a great weekend!

THank you for the additional information. Maybe I can get my husband to eat them once and while now.

I do like Ramon Noodles. I don't make them very often - my husband refuses to eat them. But I do enjoy the occasional bowl.

I have kept some in the house as soon as I learned about them fronm my son when he was in the army. My favorite is the roast chicken flavor. They are fairly new I think. (The roast chicken flavor I mean) I put different chopped up vegetables in them some times and add a good dallop of hot sauce to liven them up. My grandkids like them with cheese like maccaroni. They also liked them with peanutbutter and honey with sesame seeds.
